Code of Conduct and Acceptable Use Policy

Mobrage is committed to providing a safe, professional, and respectful environment for all Users and Vehicle Experts on its platform. This combined Code of Conduct and Acceptable Use Policy outlines the expected standards of behaviour, responsibilities, and guidelines for all parties and Users who engage with Mobrage (“our Platform”), whether through booking services, providing vehicle-related expertise, or using our Platform for communication and coordination. Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary actions, including suspension or termination of access to our Platform.

This Policy should be used in conjunction with our Terms of Service, and our Privacy and Cookies Policy. Capitalised words shall have the meaning given to them in our Terms of Service.

By using our Platform, you acknowledge and agree to comply with this Code of Conduct and Acceptable Use Policy. 

  1. General Use of our Platform
  • Permitted Use: our Platform is intended for legitimate vehicle-related services and communication between Users. Any use outside this scope, including but not limited to advertising, soliciting, or spamming, is prohibited.
  • Prohibited Activities: Users must not engage in any activity that:
    • Is illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or violates the rights of others.
    • Disrupts or interferes with the functionality, performance, or security of the our Platform.
    • Exploits or misuses our Platform in any unintended way.
    • Involves the use of bots, scripts, or other automated tools not intended for human use.
  1. Professionalism and Respect

All Users must:

  • Treat each other with courtesy, dignity, and respect at all times.
  • Avoid discriminatory, harassing, abusive, offensive, or threatening language or behaviour.
  • Communicate professionally, even in the face of disagreements or dissatisfaction.
  • Refrain from making defamatory or false claims against others.
  1. Integrity and Honesty

All parties must:

  • Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information about services, availability, qualifications (for Experts), and vehicle details (for Vehicle Users).
  • Avoid misrepresenting skills, experience, or vehicle conditions.
  • Disclose any potential conflicts of interest or issues that may affect service delivery.

 

  1. Safety and Compliance
  • Vehicle Experts must:
    • Deliver services with due care, skill, and diligence consistent with industry standards.
    • Ensure they hold valid licenses, insurance, certifications, and any regulatory permits required for the services provided.
    • Follow all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Vehicle Users must:
    • Ensure their vehicles are accessible, safe, and free from hazards.
    • Disclose any relevant issues that may pose safety risks to the Vehicle Expert.

 

  1. Content and Communications
  • User-Generated Content: Users are responsible for the content they post or share on our Platform. All content must:
    • Not contain harmful or malicious software (viruses, malware, etc.).
    • Be lawful, non-discriminatory, and not infringe upon intellectual property or privacy rights.
    • Not contain abusive, defamatory, harassing, or offensive material.
    • Not promote or incite violence or unlawful activity.
  • Respectful Communication: All communications between all Users should be professional, respectful, and free of abusive, threatening, or harassing language.
  1. Platform Integrity
  • Our Platform must be used solely for the intended purpose of booking and providing vehicle-related services.
  • Any attempts to misuse, exploit, or manipulate platform features are strictly prohibited.
  • Communications related to bookings should remain within our Platform unless agreed otherwise.
  1. Disruptive Behaviour and Abuse
  • Disruptive or Harmful Behavior: Any action that intentionally disrupts or harms the user experience, platform functionality, or the reputation of our Platform will not be tolerated. This includes:
    • Spamming or flooding our Platform with unnecessary messages or requests.
    • Engaging in fraudulent activities or providing services that are misleading or substandard.
  • Abuse of Feedback System: Feedback and reviews on our Platform must reflect genuine experiences. Manipulating ratings, reviews, or feedback for personal or professional gain is strictly prohibited.
  1. Prohibited Conduct

The following behaviours are strictly prohibited on our Platform:

  • Harassment, hate speech, or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, or any protected characteristic.
  • Fraud, misrepresentation, or deceptive practices.
  • Performing or requesting illegal, unsafe, or unlicensed services.
  • Intentionally damaging property or causing harm.
  • Soliciting services outside our Platform to avoid fees.
  • Tampering with or attempting to access unauthorized areas of our Platform.
  1. Security and Platform Integrity
  • Platform Security: in line with Section 4 of the Terms of Service, Users must take reasonable precautions to protect their accounts and personal information, including maintaining strong, secure passwords and keeping account details confidential.
  • Misuse of Platform Features: Users are prohibited from manipulating, exploiting, or abusing the features of our Platform in any way that is not intended.
  1. Compliance with Laws and Regulations
  • Users must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards while using our Platform. Vehicle Experts must ensure they are properly licensed, insured, and certified as required by applicable law.
  1. Enforcement and Accountability
  • Monitoring and Investigation: We reserve the right to monitor platform activity for compliance and take necessary action to enforce this policy.
  • Disciplinary Actions: Violations may result in warnings, account suspensions, permanent termination of accounts, or legal action, including referral to law enforcement where applicable.
  • Reporting Violations: Users are encouraged to report any suspected violations through our official reporting channels.
  1. Feedback and Dispute Resolution
  • Feedback: Feedback must be respectful, constructive, and based on genuine experience. Manipulating ratings or reviews is not allowed.
  • Dispute Resolution: Disputes should be reported to us through our official channels for fair and prompt resolution. Retaliation against Users who raise complaints or leave negative feedback is prohibited.
  1. Updates to the Policy
  • We reserve the right to update this Code of Conduct and Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Changes will be communicated to Users through our Platform. By continuing to use our Platform, Users agree to abide by the updated policy.
